''Daddy, I meet you at Ang Mo Kio Central after work to have our dinner. Our usual place. OK?" I said to my daddy. This is our usual routine for most of the weekdays evening. Sometimes, if I feel a little richer, I will treat my dad to Junction 8 for a better meal like Swensen, Express Thai..etc....

I will meet my daddy after my work and my daddy will come from his younger sister's house to meet me. We will have our dinner outside before going home. This is what we do after my mother passed away in June 2004. We became closer and we do almost everything together.

After dinner, we will take a bus home. We will choose the bus which has a longer route to our house. I will sit beside my dad and we will chat. I will complain or tell him about any interesting events that happened in my office on that day. If I have my driving lessons on certain days, my dad will buy me dinner, most of the time is my favorite food, McDonalds and waits outside the Driving School for me. We will then go home together after my lessons. I will also tell my dad on the silly and funny thing I did while learning driving. My dad will then laugh and make fun of me.

My dad has a good sense of bus direction too. Sometimes, when I want to get from one place to a place which I ever been before. My dad will teach me and direct me how to get to my destination at the easiest way.

On Sundays, we will go church together. After church, my dad will usually head for his own activities. He will go mahjong at his sister's house most of the Sundays. Sometimes, if he doesnt have any mahjong, I will cook dinner and wait for him to come home and eat together.

On weekdays, we will have breakfast together before my transport comes and pick me up. My dad will also see me off as I board the bus to work.

At night, while we relax in our aircondition room. I will lie beside my dad,and he will pat and stroke my head, just like any father will to do to his little girl.

But things changes after his stroke.....The changes is so big that I couldnt accept it.
